With the Old Breed by E.B. Sledge a powerful account of of the battles at Peleliu and Okinawa in the second world war.  This is E.B. Sledge's first hand account of these battles.  It book was part of the series made for HBO "The Pacific."

Dead or Alive by Tom Clancy, Grant Blackwood A good book but it is not an old Tom Clancy novel like he used to write.

Stieg Larsson my friend by Kurdo Baksi  I read this book because it was written by a person that knew Stieg Larsson well, and I wanted to know more about him.  Stieg Larsson was the writer of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy.   This book helped me understand more about the life of this great writer.

A Great Deliverance by Elizabeth George  I found this book by reading "Stieg Larsson my friend by Kurdo Baksi"  This mystery novel was written by a writer that influenced Stieg Larsson's and his style of writing.   It turns out that this is a very good book written by a very talented writer.
